Washington, D.C. – Congressman Michael Guest (MS-03) voted against H.R. 3755, the Women's Health Protection Act, also referred to as the Abortion on Demand Until Birth Act. The legislation would remove nearly all regulations and restrictions on abortions, which would effectively make abortion legal up to the moment of birth across the nation.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Guest (MS-03) voted in favor of the Iron Dome Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2022. This bill would provide $1 billion for the Iron Dome defense systems, funding that Progressive House Members forced Democrats to remove from the Continuing Resolution that was considered in the House of Representatives earlier this week.

Washington, D.C. – Tonight, Congressman Michael Guest (MS-03) voted against H.R. 5304, a bill that would suspend the debt ceiling. Suspension of the debt limit would enable the enormous $3.5 trillion partisan reconciliation bill proposed by Congressional Democrats. The bill passed the House 220-211 on a party line vote. It is expected to receive significant Republican opposition in the Senate.

The first would prohibit Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funds from being used to enter or renew a contract for any unmanned aircraft system manufactured in China. Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Michael Guest (MS-03) voted against House Democrats' "deem and pass" procedural move that triggered automatic passage of the $3.5 trillion budget resolution. The procedure tied the passage of the budget resolution to passage of the rules of debate for other bills the House is considering – the bipartisan infrastructure package and H.R. 4, the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act of 2021.

The Brookhaven-Lincoln County Airport located in Brookhaven, Mississippi, will receive over $2.2 million in funding to rehabilitate runway lighting, taxiway lighting, airport beacons, and runways.
