Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Michael Guest (MS-03) voted in favor of H.R. 21 - Strategic Production Response Act. During instances of draw downs of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) in non-emergency times, the legislation would require the Secretary of Energy to develop a plan to increase domestic energy production by the same percentage the SPR was drawn down.
Washington, D.C. – Today, House of Representatives Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Kay Granger (TX) announced that Congressman Michael Guest (MS-03) will serve on three Appropriations subcommittees in the 118th Congress. Congressman Guest has been selected to serve on the Subcommittees on Homeland Security; Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies; and Energy and Water Development, and Related Agencies.
