WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S Air Force notified Mississippi’s Congressional Delegation that Key Field in Meridian is officially in the running to be the future home of the new KC-46 aircraft. The nation-wide candidate field has been narrowed to seven, in what is called a “down-selection.”

Washington, D.C. – On Wednesday, the Committee on Homeland Security passed H.R. 9459, the “Producing Advanced Technologies for Homeland Security Act” or “PATHS Act,” by a unanimous vote. Under the legislation, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) would be granted authority to enter into other transaction agreements, or OTAs.
