ELLISVILLE- Mississippi’s third district Congressman Michael Guest spent the day with his Bay Springs constituents before the Easter break touring Hol-Mac Industries, Jasper County General Hospital and Jones College’s Jasper County Center. While at the Jasper County Center as the guest of Jones College President, Dr. Jesse Smith, the Congressman met with students, faculty and staff along with the Center’s Director, Grant Crowder to see first-hand the various programs.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Michael Guest (R-Miss) voted today to advance H.R. 7521, the bipartisan Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act. H.R. 7521 passed the U. S. House of Representatives by an overwhelming majority of 352-65, 1.

 RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – McLaurin Elementary School in Florence celebrated Read Across America Week (March 2-6) with special guest readers Congressman Michael Guest and his wife Haley Guest.

“Reading is not always easy. I remember when I was a kid. It was hard for me to learn how to read,” said Congressman Guest.

The Guests’ encouraged the group of kindergarteners why it’s important to read, but also why their voice matters.

 On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Bottom Line,” Rep. Michael Guest (R-MS) responded to arguments from Democrats that the failure of the Senate bill will force budget shortfalls on DHS by pointing out that the House appropriations bill increased the number of Border Patrol agents and the number of detention beds, while prior budget requests from the Biden administration have requested cuts to detention beds.

A Constituent Services Day will be held Feb. 20 at Prentiss City Hall.  Staff with U. S. Rep. Over the last three years, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, at the direction of President Joe Biden, has led the U.S. into the worst border crisis in our nation’s history by refusing to enforce the laws passed by Congress. This in and of itself is worthy of impeachment.
