House Passes Wilderness Act Despite Republican Objections

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Michael Guest voted against H.R. 803 - Protecting America's Wilderness and Public Lands Act, legislation that would seize 1.5 million acres of land and restrict their use. The legislation would permanently withdraw 1.2 million acres from mineral production, essential resources that provide jobs to thousands of Americans and support our domestic energy sector.
