Congressman Guest’s Appropriations Subcommittee Assignments Announced
Washington, D.C. – Today, House of Representatives Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Kay Granger (TX) announced that Congressman Michael Guest (MS-03) will serve on three Appropriations subcommittees in the 118th Congress. Congressman Guest has been selected to serve on the Subcommittees on Homeland Security; Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies; and Energy and Water Development, and Related Agencies.
“These subcommittee assignments uniquely position me and my team to better serve the needs of Mississippi,” Congressman Guest said. “On these committees, I will prioritize border and national security, help ensure that our military remains strong and our veterans receive the benefits they’ve earned, and promote robust energy and waterway infrastructure in Mississippi. I look forward to this opportunity to serve our great state.”
“Congressman Guest has a strong reputation for fiscal responsibility and will bring his insight to the subcommittees he’s been assigned,” said Chairwoman Granger. “I am confident he will be a great asset to the Appropriations Committee as we look to tackle some of the most pressing issues facing our nation.”
