3rd Dist. Congressional Office hosts Constituent Services Day at Seminary Library
SEMINARY, Miss. (WDAM) - Residents of Mississippi’s Third Congressional District met face to face with representatives of Congressman Michael Guest’s office in Seminary Wednesday.
A “Constituent Services Day” at the Conner-Graham Memorial Library allowed residents to learn more about IRS refunds, veterans benefits or Social Security disability payments.
Similar events are held periodically across the Third District.
“The most common things that we help with at these type settings is, of course, Social Security, VA benefits, we’ve already had a couple of veterans in this morning with some needs, we do passports, which, a lot of people will pay for trips, buy trips, whatever, not thinking far enough ahead and they’ll go ‘Oh goodness, I’ve got to have a passport,’” said Jimmie D. Nichols, field representative and law enforcement coordinator for Rep. Michael Guest’s office.
If you missed the event on Wednesday, you can still reach out for assistance from the Third District office by calling 769-241-6120.
